The Revised Common Lectionary (RCL) is a three-year cycle of daily Bible readings used by many Christian churches. The RCL was first published in 1992 and is revised every nine years. The 2024-2025 RCL is the most recent revision.
The RCL is an important resource for Christian worship. It provides a structured way to read through the Bible over the course of a year. The RCL also helps to ensure that a variety of Bible passages are read in worship, so that Christians can hear the full range of God’s Word.
