Replacing the heating element in a Samsung dryer is a relatively simple repair that can be completed in about an hour. A new heating element will cost around $50, and the repair will save you the cost of calling a repairman.
The heating element is located at the back of the dryer, behind the drum. To access it, you will need to remove the back panel of the dryer. Once you have removed the back panel, you will see the heating element. It is held in place by two screws. Remove the screws and pull the heating element out of the dryer.
