The Midwinter Meeting, held annually in January, is one of the most important events for the American Library Association (ALA). It brings together librarians, library staff, and other professionals from across the country to discuss current issues and trends in the library field, and to network with colleagues.
The 2025 Midwinter Meeting will be held in Chicago, Illinois, from January 23-26. The theme of the meeting is “Libraries: The Future is Now.” The meeting will feature a variety of programs and events, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and exhibits. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about new technologies and trends in the library field, and to share their own experiences and ideas.
