The PPAC 2024/2025 season will be the 45th season of the Pittsburgh Public Theater, a Tony Award-winning regional theater company. The season will feature a diverse array of productions, including world premieres, classic works, and musicals.
The PPAC 2024/2025 season will open with the world premiere of “The Inheritance,” a new play by Matthew Lopez that explores the lives of three generations of a gay family in New York City. The season will also feature the Tony Award-winning musical “Hadestown,” as well as the classic play “A Streetcar Named Desire” and the world premiere of “The Great Leap,” a new play by Lauren Yee that tells the story of the Chinese women’s basketball team.
